What is better: Private or Group Lessons?
Private: Quicker, individually tailored teaching plans and lesson times
Group: More tuition time with set break times for a good price and chance to meet new people.
What is easier skiing or snowboarding?
Depends on your own ability. Both can be quick to learn with the right help.
How long are the lessons?
Private: your choice!
Groups: All course times are to be found under ‘ski school’ and ‘snowboard school’ on our homepage.
What language are the lessons in?
Private: we can teach lessons in over 20 different languages. Pre-booking is an advantage!
Groups: Main taught in German, English and Dutch but occasionally other languages too.
Where do the groups ski/snowboard?
On ski runs in our ski region that are within your ski ability. Ski run choice is dependent on snow and weather conditions. As a beginner what do I learn on the 1st day? The basics: how to stop and to turn.
From what age can you learn to ski?
From 3 years old in the Bobo Mini-club (ski lesson and playtime) From 4 years old in the Bobo Club.
From what age can you learn to snowboard?
From 7-8 yrs, then the child has a well developed ability to balance which is important for snowboarding.
Are we also taught in the Funpark and Powder?
Of course! It is a part of our teaching plan for intermediates and above.
Can I first pay for one day and if I like the course pay for the rest of the week?
Yes, however it will increase the overall price of the course.
Are there also half day lessons?
We offer group courses with varying hours. Please refer to our homepage under ‘ski school’ or ‘snowboard school’. Private lessons can be booked for between 1-5hours.
Childrens Lessons
Do the children also ski in the Bobo Mini-club?
Lessons are playful and are taught both indoors and out with the use of ski equipment.
Where do I drop my children off and pick them up?
Always to the Kinderland; meeting point. In the winter in the village and the spring at ‘Langwiedboden’ next to Ski Dome 2.
Can my children ski in the same group?
Yes, however the children must go in the group appropriate for the slowest child to benefit most from the lessons.
Do I need to pick the Children up for lunch?
No, you can buy lunch vouchers which include food, drink and childcare for the lunch period.
Why is the meeting point in the winter in the village?
Easily accessible, lots of children lifts available and less stress for the body at only 800m above sea-level.
Is lunchtime childcare necessary?
Children are generally enthusiastic about eating together and it allows you to have a stress- free day!

Is the skipass included in the lesson price?
No, however use of the ski are and lift (3 magic carpets, 1 rope-tow lift) in our beginner area are free for the duration of the lessons taking place in this area.
